Discord Member Logs
Discord member logs track your server’s door. LoggerBot logs every join with the account’s age, every leave, nickname changes, and bots being added or removed — so a wave of fresh accounts or a quiet mass exit does not go unnoticed.
Pair it with invite logging to see which invite each new member used.
What LoggerBot logs
- Join member — the new member, their account creation date, and the current member count.
- Leave member — when someone leaves — cross-checked against the audit log so kicks are labelled as kicks.
- Nickname changes — the old and new nickname, and who changed it if it was not the member.
- Bot added / removed — which bot, and which moderator invited or removed it.
- Members pruned — a summary when inactive members are pruned, with a count and examples.
- Server avatar changes — when a member sets or clears a server-specific avatar.
How member logging works
The join log includes account age because a brand-new account joining is one of the clearest raid signals. The leave log checks the audit log to tell a voluntary leave apart from a kick or a ban, and labels it accordingly.
Nickname changes record the executor separately, so a moderator renaming someone is distinct from a member changing their own nickname.
Setting it up

Frequently asked questions
Does the join log show how old the account is?
Yes. Every join log includes the account creation date, which is the main signal for spotting raids of fresh accounts.
Can I tell kicks apart from people leaving?
Yes. LoggerBot checks the audit log when a member leaves and labels the entry as a kick, a ban, or a plain leave.
Is this the same as a welcome message?
No. Member logs go to a staff log channel for record-keeping. They are not public welcome or goodbye messages.
